Ten minutes from your door is the Larch Hills cross-country ski area.
In Winter this area is known for its 150 kilometers of well marked cross-country ski trails. 30 kms of these trails are groomed and track-set. There are well marked Snow Shoe trails as well.
In Summer, the Shuswap area is Hot. There are lots of lakes , rivers and beaches for swimming and boating, with many scenic golf courses close-by.
The Larch Hills Trails, in summer, are a hikers and mountain bikers paradise .

The cabin is also one hour from Mount MacPherson cross country ski area and Revelstoke Mountain Resort downhill ski area, near Revelstoke.
Sovereign Lakes cross country ski area and Silver Star Mountain down hill ski resort, near the city of Vernon are also one hour away.

Just Imagine....Ten minutes from your door, and you are on your skis, gliding silently along trails through towering evergreens laden with fresh powdery snow.
After a nice ski you head "Back to the Cabin" to soak in a private hot tub on a snow covered deck under the stars....and later enjoy a drink by the fireside with someone special.

Over the years we have managed to attract a wide variety of wildlife and birds to our place. There are deer, moose, pheasants, racoons, rabbits, birds of many kinds, chipmunks and red squirrels at the feeders.
Due to the wildlife here and our wood floors, we have a NO PETS policy at the Larch Hills Cabin. Sorry.
